CRAFT CENTER - STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES

Craft Center Program Coordinator Internship (4 – 12 hrs per week, 1- 3 Academic Credits)
Students who are interested in the arts will help plan and execute events and assist with PR and marketing. Work closely with staff on planning major craft events, Make it – Take it crafts, Craft Center classes and specialty events for clubs and organizations. Intern is helps with publicity, production of flyers, on-line calendar, facebook, newsletters and program evaluation. Office Assistant (Work Study preferred)
Perform receptionist duties, take and process class registrations, word processing, and customer service, create flyers, help with PR and marketing, assist with events as necessary. Undergrad students only. Come to the office for a job application, Union room 049.

Studio Assistant (Work Study preferred)
Assist within the ceramic studio loading/unloading kilns, glazing, up keep, maintain supplies and equipment, inventory, set up for classes, customer service, PR and marketing, assist with events as necessary. Undergrad students only. Come to the office for a job application, Union room 049.

Arts & Craft Instructor
Artists and craftsmen who would like to share their talents by volunteering or by teaching a class at the Craft Center should contact the coordinator at (631) 632-6822. Students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to apply!

Volunteers
