WELCOME WAGON

Welcome Wagon, which is coordinated by The Division of Campus Residences, offers our current students, the leadership opportunity to make Opening Weekend a welcoming, and inviting day for new resident students.

Welcome Wagon, has become a growing tradition. It is a part of Opening Weekend which many returning students look forward to. It affords them a way to interact with new students, contribute to the many tasks required to make check-in run smoothly, and to simply be part of the excitement of the back-to-school spirit.

BENEFITS

• Help new students become acclimated  to Stony Brook University.

• Each selected volunteer will receive a Welcome Wagon t-shirt.

• Each selected volunteer will receive a breakfast and lunch during New Student Check-in.

• Each selected volunteer will be able to check in early to his/her Residence Hall room.

Applications will be accepted until 5:00PM on July 15, 2009.
