Blood pressure is the force that is created by the heart pumping blood against the artery walls. If your blood pressure is too high, your heart is working harder than it should, which can cause damage to the heart and blood vessels. Join us to check out your blood pressure and obtain information on the heart and keeping it healthy.
The total cholesterol test is done by finger stick. Total cholesterol is defined as the sum of HDL, LDL and VLDL. Come to a screening and learn about your blood pressure and total cholesterol this month!

Body Composition Analysis
- Skin Fold Test: Approximately one-half of our body fat is located directly under the skin. Skinfold calipers are used to measure subcutaneous tissue at selected sites. By pinching the skin and creating skinfolds, percentage of body fat can be estimated.
- Bioelectrical Impedance: Muscles, blood vessels and bones are body tissues having a high water content that conduct electricity easily. Body fat is tissue that has little electric conductivity. The Body Fat Analyzer sends and extremely weak electrical current through your body to determine the amount of fat tissue. This weak electrical current is not felt while operating the Body Fat Analyzer.
