40th LI FEIS Competition, Aug 8th 2008
at SAC Aud., Ballroom A & B
This is an Irish Step Dancing Competition in which all 1st floor programming spaces will be used as competition rooms.

IFSC Welcome Back BBQ, Sept 3rd 2008 at SAC Plaza
Outdoor BBQ hosted by IFSC for SBU students, teaching them about campus activities and fraternal organizations. 

SAB Comedy Show, Sept 3rd at SAC Aud

Symposium open to the general public/campus/students examining the role of leadership in government.

Mock Job Fair, Sept 19th at SAC Aud Ballroom A & B
Students will have time to interact w/ employers while searching for a job.

2008 Turner Fellowship  Welcome Dinner, Oct 2nd 2008 at Ballroom A
This is an annual dinner held to recognize the incoming Turner Fellowship Receipients here at Stony Brook University. The new Turner Fellows, current fellows, and members of the faculty and administration have dinner, followed by a guest speaker, etc.
