ROTH FOOD COURT RENOVATION MEANS MORE DINING OPTIONS ACROSS CAMPUS!! 
Roth Food Court will be cooking up renovations when it is closed during the 07-08 academic year. When the last nail is hammered, it will be an exciting dining and gathering space, with a variety of made-to-order items and fast food giant Wendy’s. You’ll be able to get your caffeine fix at the new Coffee House. There will be something for everybody at the Roth Food Court!
Since Roth Food Court will be closed, the Stony Brook Union will be undergoing its own renovations this summer, making it the RED HOT place to be for campus dining! The Bleacher Club will become the all new Union Commons, where you can get almost anything your appetite desires. There will be everything from burgers to Caribbean cuisine, gyros to wok favorites, and more! If you’re in the mood for wings, stop by Wolfie’s Wings and Things. And the world famous Starbucks will be making a new home in the Union. You can eat your way through the SB Union and never get bored!

Stony Brook, NY (Central Office) An updated and detailed version of the Frequently Asked Questions portion of the campus residences website has been created and approved for immediate use, much to the delight of students, professional staff members, and the surrounding communities of Brookhaven and Stony Brook.
The much anticipated and highly touted webpage provides incoming pupils, prospective students, current enrollees, parents, alumni, and faculty/staff members alike with detailed answers to queries necessary to ensure success at Stony Brook University. With subjects such as "Maintenance," "Safety and Security," and "Entertainment and Leisure Activities," the site runs the gamut of topics and is sure to be a prominent portion of the already immensely popular Stony Brook University internet page.
Gone are the days of searching tirelessly throughout the site to find the answer to a question essential to student success and development. A most convenient feature of this new page is the "Instant Response" search function, whereby net users can receive real-time feedback as they type in the keywords to the questions to which they desire a response. "Myspace and facebook have occupied a good majority of my internet time in the past," admits Gerard Schillingford, 23, an alum of the Stony Brook school of English, "but with this new Instant Response feature in the FAQ site from campus residences, I just may have found a new hobby." Indeed, most students and staff members have been quick to praise the site as "innovative," "user-friendly," and, perhaps most profoundly, "fun."
The webpage is regularly updated and maintained by a bevy of student- and professional-staff members, toiling daily to ensure proper elucidations to questions that may not be easily answered.
Stony Brook University is located on the north shore of Suffolk County, New York; ten miles east of Smithtown and four miles west of Port Jefferson, and is one of the most premiere institutions in the nation.
